About Me

I take a lot of pride in being a true photojournalist. For six years I was a photographer at a medium sized newspaper. I covered just about anything you've ever seen in your local paper. I approach every wedding just as I would a typical newspaper assignment; to tell the story through my photographs. I want you to look at your wedding photos and laugh, cry, and laugh again, at the fun and beautiful moments I've captured.

Fun and laid back. I'm often told by brides and their bridesmaids that, of all the weddings they've been apart of, I'm the best photographer that they have worked with... Not just because of my images but because I'm easy to work with and have a great sense of humor.

Contact me if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or for your family portrait. Check my availability calendar to see my schedule. Thanks!

The Knot photo of the day!

So one of my super cool couples, Melanie and Mike, added their wedding photos to The Knot.com... and the next day a photo of their shoes made The Knot's photo of the day!

Here's a screen capture of the page:

Jimmy and Paula: March 6, 2010

Jimmy and Paula could not have asked for a better day for their March wedding... The weather was unbelievably warm and sunny, not your typical Seattle winter day. Having such a sweet couple and their friendly wedding party (except Duncan!) made the day even better. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!

Jimmy's dad tries to figure out how to fold a pocket square for one of the groomsmen.

Jimmy's beautiful daughter Katie...

There wasn't a "J" for Jimmy so they went with a "G" instead...

Paula was absolutely beaming all day...

This is the same cake topper that Paula's parents used at their wedding...

Jimmy kisses Paula on the head despite her less than perfect job cutting the cake!

Jimmy and Paula: Engagement

I met Jimmy and Paula at the Rainbow Run putt putt course for their engagement session which is where they had their first date Jimmy claims he got a hole in one on their date but Paula says mulligans don't count on a putt putt course! Jimmy and Paula were so much fun to chat with and I can't wait for their wedding in March.
