About Me

I take a lot of pride in being a true photojournalist. For six years I was a photographer at a medium sized newspaper. I covered just about anything you've ever seen in your local paper. I approach every wedding just as I would a typical newspaper assignment; to tell the story through my photographs. I want you to look at your wedding photos and laugh, cry, and laugh again, at the fun and beautiful moments I've captured.

Fun and laid back. I'm often told by brides and their bridesmaids that, of all the weddings they've been apart of, I'm the best photographer that they have worked with... Not just because of my images but because I'm easy to work with and have a great sense of humor.

Contact me if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or for your family portrait. Check my availability calendar to see my schedule. Thanks!

Ellie and Ryan: July 3, 2010

Ellie and Ryan hosted such a beautiful wedding at the equally beautiful, Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, Washington. My favorite quote of the day was when Ryan said "I couldn't even think about Ellie (before the ceremony) because it would have made me cry." I just love couples like them!

Ryan has an identical twin brother... which was a first for me. Thankfully their hair was a little different and they wore different ties!

They had an ice luge for drinks, a scotch bar, and a cigar bar. All of which were very popular and everyone loved the cocktail hour that was held on the dock. The cake was one of the best I've ever had (I heard it was made by a family member!) and Ellie's flowers were gorgeous. Everything was pretty much perfect!

Congrats to Ryan and Ellie!

They had their guests sign beautiful card stock, instead of a traditional guest book, which they will put in their photo album style guest book...

If you look close you can see a tear going down Ryan's cheek!

Jenni and Devvin: June 26, 2010

Jenni and Divven's morning wedding at Ray's Boathouse was just perfect. The weather was great, location was beautiful, the bridal party was fun and the couple was adorable! It was an awesome way to start my stretch of 14 weddings in 11 weeks!

Jenni was a bridesmaid in her cousin Megan's wedding who was one of my brides from 2008. It was so much fun to see Megan and her husband John (and their newly acquired "shaggin wagon" pictured below!).

We started their portraits at Golden Gardens Park near Ray's and the light was perfect and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Their puppy was running around with Divven's dad and snuck into several photos!

Thanks for such a fun day!

Divven gave his groomsmen hatchets... and they were more then happy to do some goofy photos!

Kristina and Jeff: Engagement

I met Kristina and Jeff at Gasworks Park for their engagement session on a windy Saturday. Thankfully Kristina is so awesome that she laughed every time the wind picked up! After a bit we headed to the Arboretum for some more photos where it wasn't windy! They were both so much fun to work with... couples like them really remind me of how great of a job I have. I'm looking forward to their 10-10-10 wedding!
